La gran triunfadora de la noche fue “Una batalla tras otra” (One Battle After Another), que obtuvo Mejor Película, Mejor Director para Paul Thomas Anderson y Mejor Guion Adaptado.
El dominio en las categorías principales colocó a la cinta como la producción a vencer rumbo al Óscar, respaldada por el consenso de la crítica especializada y su solidez narrativa y formal.
